Great work, i loved this introduction to your show so much, it was as if i was watching the opening to a real show on television. You have everything right, a good blend of characters and some pretty good skills when it comes to drawing graphics. I liked your choice for the theme song of the show too. My concerns for when this is becomes a series are quite high however if you add voice acting, keep your animation smooth and make sure your story with worth telling then you should be on the road to success.

Tetsubo responds:

I hope the characters will be to your liking when you actually hear their voices and get a real look at their personalities, the theme tune was actually composed by myself with a basic music program with the song based on a jingle I made up years ago, most of the scripts covering the series are complete but I'll try and take your advice on board, thanks.

Well you fooled me, i thought this was going to be all serious and then all of a sudden the fight stops and you allow the user to select who wins and the laughter began! I thought they were all good endings but my favorite was the extra ending it was just classic, the fight before the viewer got to decide who was gonna win was really intense and i have to give you props for selecting such good sound effects. Overall i was pleased with your sprite movie.

Well i enjoyed this, its not often newgrounds gets live action stuff because usually the users blam them for being on an animation only site, but i think that this deserves its place here, you have a nice mix of comedy and i like your use of sound effects and also you added in a few animated graphics along the way. My only question, is that guys hair real? because man does he have a set of hair.Overall im pretty impressed by this and i look forward to you perusing comedy.

Chrispy responds:

Thank you very much, and yes, that is my real hair, haha. I feel that although this is primarily a Flash animation site, that anything well made should be allowed here. And all of my live action submissions have gotten accepted. After all, it is "New Grounds: Everything by everyone". Anyways, thank you very much for your great review! Check out my other stuff and be sure to look out for more comedic stuff from me :)

Very well done, you were able to keep this interesting by adding in all the different angles with your direction, you never just had the object being focused on in the middle of the screen, you were able to twist the "camera", change perspectives and really keep the viewer guessing what was going to be happening next. The song was well chosen. Your animation was superb, i loved the way you animated the guy getting shot, it was really quite gruesome. The only dissapointment for me came with the abrupt ending to this, i would love to see an update to this that lasts the full length of the song.

MrGUS responds:

Hey, yeah I know, i had a couple of other poeple tell me that, I hope to give it a decent ending someday, but I don't think I will be able to do it soon. Thanks for the positive feedback

I like how you went with the extra effort of adding in a voice for the japanese super mario and you seem to have done a good job of pronouncing the words and such but i think you need to put more feeling into the lines so it comes off even funnier then it is now. The way you animated this was well done, you were able to realize that the style of a japanese mario would have poor animation and you copied that style to perfection. Overall i was very pleased with this effort and i can see this spawning into a series of interesting shorts.

Firstly i have to say that i loved the loading screen, it was really creative. This was a nicely done flash, you had some good voice acting and you were able to keep the jokes coming consistently. The things that need improvement vary, you could do with some more detail in your characters as it seems your detail is great in some characters but others that get just as much screen time aren't created with as much effort, also the animation was alittle primitive but you were able to sync up the sound so props go out for that. Overall i have to say i enjoyed the large amounts of violence and humor.

O-of-HH responds:

Thanks, we've goten a lot of compliments about the load screen. We worked very hard on getting the voice talent right and had it recorded in a friends studio. Unfortunately, we had to compress it significantly to get the lipsync right-and we lost a lot of quality there. This is our test run of a six episode series. So hopefully our animation will get better as we go along-any specific points in the story where you thought the physical movements could have been improved? Thanks for taking time to check it out.

This really was a tough one to judge, on the one side you had pretty bad character designs that all looked the same and the graphics weren't that impressive but then on the other hand you had some really great voices and your humor was very strong, so was your general overall story. So i guess id have to say that this was a winner, but what i don't understand is what possessed you to draw the characters as stick figures, i mean in one scene the graphics on the television are better then the graphics in the foreground which is really strange. Im looking forward to how they are going to defeat them in the next episode though.

Frozenverdugo responds:

Well thanks, the next episode is coming soon

Well i enjoyed the joke, but i don't think you gave yourself as much of a chance to get a reaction off the viewer as you could have, if you had just kept it to a simple background rather then one that was moving so much you would have built up the intensity more and same goes for the voices, you didn't give yourself enough time to drag out the lines before the punchline but don't get me wrong it was still funny. Loved the voice acting, sonic especially was well done. Overall a good short flash.

Renegade-Hamster responds:

I have to disagree with you on the backgrounds. I've learned from anime that any scene can be made more intense by adding a crazy moving background. AND ANIME IS NEVER WRONG.

Well i will have to assume that English is not your first language, well at least hope, because the text was really dodgy, with everything from grammar, to missing words, to just simply spelling "now" instead of "know". But i was still able to follow the storyline and it was pretty funny, i like the depth you gave to it as well. The audio was what made this work, your sampling of the zelda sounds really did help to bring this to life.

~H-J~

PFRA responds:

Maybe you should be allright about english is not my first language, In the part 3 I will submit in some months you should guess from what foreign country I am.
Thanks for telling me about that grammar mistake.

Well that was really quiet creative, i cant picture myself sitting down and drawing up something like that, it is so strange but really was good to watch. I did notice however that it seemed to repeat itself, i would have loved more unique material being used. The song was well chosen, i love it when people don't use the ordinary songs that are used in every second flash but go for something alittle less main stream. Overall it was crazy to see the black and white screen come to life with black striped objects spinning around, good job.

shlimazel responds:

thanks!

and shame on me, how could i forget: anyone interested in the music, billysad's fine little site is
http://billysad.de/
they have put up a couple of their songs as free downloads, including 'walking', you will find it under "merch".

I would like to give as many authors as i can, straight to the point feedback with my reviews. So it would be nice if you could return with a response :)
