Nice work

Very unusual chemistry between the two characters the robot was really funny, i loved his voice and when he laughed and then cut the other guy off for laughing too, that was gold. The character designs were great. Overall a solid effort.

Nice work

The first thing that stood out for me was the unique character designs you used to play out this scene from 300, very different and it made your short stand out to me. The way you displayed your subtitles were a little annoying and could have been better placed at the bottom of the page. Overall i like how you kept the flash quiet until the sound clip and your humour was pretty decent.

Thank you for the Constructive Criticism, i see what you mean with the subtitles and will keep that in mind. And i realise that it is very short. There are multiple sounds, don't know if you heard them all. And not sure if their was much humour their but thanks for the review!

Alright then...

Well i have to open my review with a complaint about the amount of violence you have used in this, not because i didnt enjoy it but because i dont know if you should be giving that much fighting and action away in the trailer!, i hope you can still top it in the full version. The background music you used was intense and fast paced just like your flash so it suited in well. Overall a great job and i am looking forward to your full lengthed entry.

Well there is alot of fighting. i had no scenes really that had no fighting, They get to a point of no Fighting but that hasnt been hit yet i am on 2000 frames

I thought you did a great job here especially for your first flash effort, it was highly enjoyable. I like how you had him sleeping on the couch before he was rudely interrupted by the beggar at the door, the sound clips of the door knocking were probably the highlight of your flash as they sounded as if they were coming from my front door! Overall, good effort and i loved your character design for the main guy, the looping was a little annoying but nothing major.

The looping irritated me too, I think I figured out how to fix it though, I'm going to remake this one with more violence, better animation, and possibly some speech

Very unusal idea to make a touranment style flash, i like how you had a large amount of matches and you werent afraid to let the blood fly around, highly entertaining matches, my favorite had to be the semi with leetson in it as it had a bit of eveything and it looked as though he was going to lose until he spun it around on his opponent. The background music was my favorite part of your flash as it had a high amount of energy that went well with the fights. The table for the touranment looked a bit too simple for me, you should spend some time making it look more presentable. Overall i was very much entertained by your flash!

Well because its in a different language it would have been nice to have understood what was being said so maybe in the future add in some subtitles for us english speaking folk. The character design of the guy singing was pretty cool i especially liked the hair. The colorful background also added to your flash short. Overall a good effort but perhaps you could have made it longer and used more angles then just the stationary one angle that you used.

Some things i liked about your flash included the subliminimal coca cola banner when he threw the gun and your vietnamese that actually sounded authentic though i doubt that it was, although if it was i have to give props to your detail. I thought your humour was terrific and that this flash was kinda informative. In future maybe label your titles a bit more approriately as the flash was a lot more specific then the title alluded. Overall a solid effort.

Thing about the Vietnamese that, being a tonal language, there are some things in there that are hard to pronounce. Even Chinese doesn't have the same style of speech. Basically, even if i knew what i know now about tonal languages, i still wouldn't have been able to make 100% authentic.

[A Guide to the Redesign]

Good

Well firstly i have to say thanks for explaining this all, i know its over 2 yeas old but i haven't been around for a long time and i needed a bit of information that only a flash short could provide!, this was very detailed and i thought that song was full of energy and added to the production. Possibly a menu screen so i could pin point certain parts would have been a nice inclusion. Overall a very well done informative flash piece.

Good job, i thought your loading screen was very original, the background with the strange coulds and the fly buzzing past. The main menu was full of life because of that great background music. Very creative concepts and i love how you gave facts at the end of them, gives the viewer an insight into them, sort of like a dvd extra. Overall a very good job and i dont mind seeing unfinished work, something about the possibilities of something that isnt complete, lets the mind imagine.

[LARRY episode 1]

Very good

Awesome start to what should go down as one of the all time great series on newgrounds. This episode shows all the promise, from the spontaneous violence to the gnarly humour, including the pashing of his fathers head, to the incredible voice acting this is going to be something special. My only hopes for future episodes is that there will be plenty of them.
