Good work sir on this submition, with shorts that have songs in them so often do the authors cut the song short but you have kept it all in, so props go out to you for that. I liked the false setup, i wasn't expecting what happened, which might i add did make me jump alittle, so the joke was on the viewer big time there. The building wasn't that detailed but the stagbeetle did look good. Overall the highlight of this hands down has to be all the sound you used especially the end song.

Nicely done, it was sweet and didn't stay past its welcome which some clock movies tend to do. Have to say that i was impressed by the cartoon like drawing style you used, and the background for the pub was cool. Also props have to go out to the sound because you had it clear enough that i could understand everything that was said.

Well firstly i think it is great that you were encouraged to try something after being inspired by a show because as you know imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. The stick man did annoy me alittle, but then again i think you were trying to focus more on the move itself then the stick figure so good work. Overall the animation moved along smoothly and the sound effects were adequate.

I don't know about this one to be honest, i did like the odd way you animated and drew your characters but i didn't like the backgrounds they just seemed alittle too out of place for me. The voice acting itself just didn't come off as 'real' too me with too many of the characters sounding the same and no real emotion being put into the scenes but i give you credit for taking the time to include them. The humor wasn't really good to start off with but you made up with the 'hamsters with guns' joke. Overall it just needed alittle more passion in the way each category was carried out.

Now you sir are the man!, your one of the few animators that have been able to pack a great joke into a small flash. The character designs for there simplicity were really quite cute. I liked the voice over work you did, it really added to the joke as a whole. The animation was simple but effective and the violence was just gory enough. The joke itself with the guy shouting out the line before dieing was priceless and something that i will remember for a long time to come, top marks.

I liked this flash a lot, the graphics might not have been great but that didn't stop the material from standing out. The beginning scene when he is stopping the car and all i can see is his arms and feet reminded me of one of the opening scenes from E.T!, i thought the sound was alittle hard to hear though and i would have loved to have been given subtitles to help me out. The car bouncing up and down was priceless but you could have held onto the gag for the length of the song, it was cut off too quickly.

For a short length flash i thought that this had ingredients that made it stand out from the rest. You were able to add in the cute character designs of the power puff girls and added in the sound effects of worms. What i thought needed improving however was maybe the joke that you used, it was very simple and may not have had enough build up to make it more powerful. Overall you were able to make a fairly decently designed mini joke by creating solid graphics, sound effects and animation.

Well what can i say about this, i liked the song for starters i thought that it was pretty funny. The images you used were alittle too much i think, i like how you censored the guy humping the other guy but maybe you should have added the censoring to every explicit image because not seeing the graphic images is a lot funnier then seeing them, well to me anyway. I would have liked to have seen how this would have turned out if you had animated the dwarfs dancing around instead of standing still and just moving there mouths, but overall i thought the joke was strong.

[Alone In Space]

Not bad

Well at first i was alittle confused at what you had submitted because it was so simple but then i took a step back and realized that you had an idea to capture the feeling of being alone in space so i appreciate the effort. It is hard to capture feelings so vividly in flash for some it comes naturally but for most aspiring young flash makers its a lot harder, i can advise you to take time to create storyboards to outlay what you want to accomplish as this seems like a common mistake of having the idea but not executing it properly in flash, oh and props go out to you for the 2001 SO theme.
